Day 14 – date 20-8-2017 "Singha Park"

"Singha Park"

Today we had breakfast with beef noodle, after that we went on a trip to "Singha Park" there really big place. There is a large lion statue seen from the road when it gets to the entrance, there are three places we can visit by paying 50 Bath, first there is a flower garden and tea, secondly there is a zoo which unfortunately is under repair so we can not stop there, and the last one is spot to take pictures and relax. At the spot there is a high tower, from there we can get a very wide view.

Day 13 – date 19-8-2017 "Wat Huay Pla Kung"

Today we are planning to go to "Wat Huay Pla Kung" / Great Buddha Temple, our plan is successful because our friend Ida and Yanti are willing to come so we can save transportation cost. We went to "Wat Huay Pla Kung" during the daytime around 2 hours of travel using Grab Taxi which cost about 110 Bath, there are three buildings there but we do not know the name, there is a pagoda, there is a white dragon temple and the largest is the giant Buddha temple.

We take a lot of photos there, there you can walk around in an open car that can accommodate more than 20 people each departure. The car will take you from the front of the pagoda to the top of a gigantic Buddhist temple, From the area of the giant Buddhist temple you can see the scenery around more beautiful because it is the highest place among the three buildings there. When we finished taking pictures, some of our buddy came to pick us up for a walk, After from "Wat Huay Pla Kung" we are invited to stop by to the cafe to buy drinks.

When night came we were invited to take a walk to "Walking Street" there we found a Muslim seller and bought yellow rice and chicken, then we are invited to where the visitors dance, there we danced several times. While resting for a meal we sat down with the mothers who were there, She was very kind as gave us a free drink and really welcomed us, even I was asked to take pictures with the mothers, their names are Liam and Pai-pai, when we said goodbye we also greeted them with Thai greetings then I shook hands with them then Liam pulled my hand and was about to kiss my cheek, she was a little pushy while saying “Your Mother Your Mother” so I do not feel good about refusing it because they are very kind to us. On the way back we continue to look at some of the things that might be interesting for us to buy. We did not join them on the way home, we decided to stay at Adi and Yoga hotel.

Day 12 – date 18-8-2017

"Nurul Islam Pakistan Mosque"

Today I'm done with my presentation materials and lesson plan. Mr. Ryan gave me a lot of feedback so that the presentation materials and lesson plan that I make for the better. Alhamdulillah today Linggo and I can go to Friday prayers, thanks to the kindness of the father of the kosher canteen owners “Mr. Kadayla” who are willing to take us to "Nurul Islam Pakistan Mosque". It took 10 minutes to get there by car and it took about 35 minutes by foot. We can be escorted to the mosque by the father of halal canteen because assisted by Munir Muslim student who helped us talk with the father of halal canteen.

Day 11 – date 17-8-2017 "Indonesia Independence Day Flag Ceremony"

Indonesia Independence Day Flag Ceremony

Today is the day of our independence nation of Indonesia. Today we are permit to come to Mae Fah Luang University to run the independence ceremony. Here we got some new friends from IPB students who do research, during the ceremony, Linggo, Yoga, and I was asked to become officers flag raisers.

 After the ceremony finished we all together went to the Muslim canteen for breakfast. The seller is indigenous thailand but can speak malay because he comes from Patani.

After breakfast we went to the Chinese Learning Center at MFU to relax while taking pictures. When finished we went to Adi and Yoga hotel named Thanaphat Hotel to rest. In the afternoons we went looking for food and got chicken for 30 Bath or about 12000 Rupiah in indonesia. At night we went back to the dormitory with the supplies we had bought.

Day 10 – date 16-8-2017

This week is the second week, i start make my lesson plan. This time i will teaching about acid and bases. Today I did not go to class because this is the lesson plan week so I have to prepare the material for the presentation.
